Criminal Minds Season 15 is highly looked upon by the avid viewers and fans after they came to know CBS would air the series for the last time. Since Season 14 dropped its finale on February 6, fans have been wondering what the series makers have in their store to portray before bidding adieu.

Criminal Minds Season 15 was renewed in January before Season 14 aired its finale. As the premiere date for the last season is yet to be announced, some believe that this may be aired in 2020. No casting announcement for the final season of the police procedural crime drama television series has been announced, but here we have some vital facts that need to be shared with the series’ avid followers.

Criminal Minds Season 15 is going to have only 10 episodes, even less than Season 14 that had 15 episodes. The show will end with a total of 324 episodes. However, the reason for making the lowest number of episodes is yet to be revealed. On the other hand, one of the most vital facts is that the upcoming season will have a time jump and pick up six months after Season 14’s finale.

In the next season of Criminal Minds, fans will be quite glad to see Dr. Spencer Reid (played by Matthew Gray Gubler) finding her new love interest. If everything goes well according to the updates, he will be in love with Perception actress Rachel Leigh Cook. Rachel will be seen in the final season playing the role of Max, who is a kind-hearted, quirky, candid woman. Her entry into the final season will bring enthusiasm. There is a possibility of Max to be introduced as an unsub victim in one of the cases to be handled by Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU). Initially, she will have friendship with Dr. Reid and then emerge as his very special friend. Unfortunately, she will be present in only two episodes.

Earlier it was rumored that Criminal Minds Season 15 would be split into two halves of 5 episodes each. We don’t have any official confirmation on it but rumors previously claimed that the first half of 5 episodes would be aired in the last quarter of 2019 while the second half during early 2020.

If we again abide by the buzzes, you will be glad to know that the final season will be seen having some villains from the previous seasons. Another vital fact, which should not be missed is the last season is going to be explosive. This was revealed by Aisha Tyler to Parade, who is popular for playing the role of Dr. Tara Lewis in Criminal Minds.

“It’s bittersweet that Criminal Minds is coming to an end. But I’m grateful that unlike some shows, we were given the time to plan a proper series finale. We are all trying to savour our last moments on set. The end of the series is going to be really explosive!” Aisha Tyler said.

Criminal Minds Season 15 will have an amalgamation of drama, romance and action. Some flashbacks, according to the showrunner Erica Messer, will also be added to cherish and honor the history. Messer said this would bring tears in fans’ eyes, mainly who have been watching the CBS’ series for a long time.
