Suits Season 9 trailer shows Meghan Markle as Rachel slapping Mike, Synopsis revealed

Time has come for Suits Season 9 to say adieu to its viewers. The recently released first trailer tries to take the viewers through all the standout scenes from over the past years. Here we have brought more surprising facts on the upcoming season.

The trailer for Suits Season 9 shows the returning of Patrick J Adams and Meghan Markle, which is a big surprise for Suits lovers. The returning of Meghan Markle was never expected in the last season of the American legal drama television series she got married to Prince Harry and became Duchess of Sussex. She was also pregnant and has given birth to a son in May this year. Even she retired from acting, closed her related social media accounts, and started undertaking public engagements as part of the British royal family. Even Patrick J Adams’ returning was also depending on her as their characters got married and happily settled in Suits Season 7.

In Suits Season 9 trailer, Harvey Spector (Gabriel Macht) is seen offering a position of an unlicensed associate to Mike Ross (Patrick J Adams). However, don’t come to this conclusion that Meghan Markle did shoot new scenes with the gang. The journey of the final season has been started with some nostalgia. In an objective to give an ample nostalgic feeling to the viewers, a few iconic moments from the previous seasons have been picked up to give a notion that it’s coming to an end.

Suits Season 9’s trailer also portrays Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) slapping Mike upon learning that he was a fraud and then the scene of their wedding comes. On the other hand, Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) and Harvey’s love story is also highlighted in the trailer. She is seen saying at the end of the trailer, “You’re gonna make me cry”.

‘After his sacrifice, Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl) is left reeling from the loss of her mentor,’ the synopsis teases. ‘And while trying to console her, Harvey realizes that he doesn’t want to lose the most important person to him: Donna.’ ‘Season nine will follow the legendary lawyer and COO balance their relationship with work, as they fight to salvage the firm’s tarnished reputation alongside their partners, Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Alex Williams (Dulé Hill), Katrina Bennett (Amanda Schull), and Samantha,’ the synopsis reveals.

Suits Season 9 is slated to have its premiere on July 17 on the USA Network.
