One Punch Man Season 2: Will Garou join Monster Association? His soft nature revealed
Ever since One Punch Man Season 2 premiered, the anime aficionados are getting closer to enjoying the mass onslaught of monsters who have the mindset to exterminate humanity in a short duration of time. The episode 5 titled ‘The Martial Arts Tournament’ covered the continuation of battle between the much-hyped antagonist Garou and Metal Bat.
In One Punch Man Season 2, we have seen Garou quite steps ahead of Metal Bat in terms of fighting skills and power and the latter hero was well aware how powerful his opponent was. But he was quite optimistic of winning the battle against Garou. He also takes the decision to fight against Centichoro who is a gigantic bug-monster creating havoc in the city, Inquisitr noted.
In the previous episode of One Punch Man Season 2, Garou already defeated Metal Bat. But when the powerful villain was about to kill his opponent, a little girl stood in front of him. She is Metal Bat’s sister. It turned out that he has a younger sister named Zenko. She stood up to defend her brother. She reminded Garou that her bro vowed her not to cause any violence, mainly she is around. Upon hearing this, Garou left him alive despite his violent nature as she repeatedly declared that the fight was over.
After giving life, Garou did set Metal Bat off on another mission – finding and killing another hero, Watchdog Man. But Metal Bat had another mission in mind – killing the giant Elder Centipede and stopping the continuous attack of Monster Association. When he (Metal Bat) wanted to confront Centipede, his sister, Zenko clouted him at the back of his head.

A softer side of such a violent villain, Garou is also been shown in the latest episode. When two other monsters were putting their efforts to abduct Zenko, Garou fantastically defended her and ordered them to leave. The monsters, understanding Garou’s superpower, invited him to join the Monster Association. But he refused the offer. The monsters still believe that he will change his mind due to his habit of hunting heroes. But fans don’t believe that he will be joining the Monster Association as he is a very powerful villain and doesn’t require any support of other monsters in killing the heroes.
One Punch Man Season 2 is currently streaming on Hulu and on Crunchyroll outside the US. The next episode titled ‘The Uprising of the Monsters’ is slated to be released on May 15, 2019.
