Suits Season 9 release date: Ending without Patrick J Adams is meaningless, Sarah Rafferty believes

Suits Season 9 is going to end the series and fans are quite disappointed as they have no other option than saying adieu to the USA Network’s one of the longest running television series. When it was previously declared that the ninth season will mark end of the series, they highly expected Patrick J Adams and Meghan Markle to at least have their presence in the final season. Will their desire be fulfilled?

The presence of Meghan Markle in Suits Season 9 as Rachel Zane does not look possible due to her pregnancy. Even she said goodbye to her acting career after becoming a member of the British royal family upon her marriage to Prince Harry. But Patrick J Adams, who played the role of Mike Ross since the beginning, has no such obligations.

Suits Season 9 may see Patrick J Adams returning as Mike although there is no official confirmation on it. In a recent conversation with ET Online, the 37-year old actor gave his fans a ray of hope. According to him, they are all trying to figure out the possibility and he hopes to return to the final season of the superhit American legal drama television series. He further said that since it is a ‘scheduling thing’, he is positive that it can be pushed through.

On the other hand, Patrick J Adams said that his return to the show also depends on the storyline. The writers, what he believes, have to figure out how to push his character in the story ensuring that the quality does not dwindle. One of the important actors of Suits, Sarah Rafferty (who plays the role of Donna Paulsen) passionately wants to get back Adams as Adam in the final season. Sources say that she believes it sounds meaningless to wrap up the series without Mike. However, as far as Rachel’s returning is concerned, her current obligations are the major issues and fans are suggested not to keep much hope over it.
