Frozen 2 trailer: Elsa’s power in freezing water to pave way revealed

The trailer-release of Frozen 2 (stylized as Frozen II) during Valentine’s Day this year undeniably fuelled fans expectation as they had been waiting for long for some updates on the much awaited movie. It has been almost six years since the first movie Frozen premiered, that’s the reason fans were quite disappointed for not getting updates on the plot for a long time.

Frozen 2 teaser-trailer shows that everyone’s favourite character, Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven will surely be back in the movie. After the airing its trailer, Disney announced a record-breaking of 116.4 million viewers in just 24 hours. Isn’t that amazing? This figure even broken the record made in 2017 by Pixar’s The Incredibles 2.

Once you look at Frozen 2 trailer, it opens with Elsa standing at a beach in a dark night, and then she is seen taking herself aback to fight against the turbulent waters. She is seen running towards the raging seas and giving her tries for a couple of times to freeze the water and making her way despite her failures. She seems to have taken absolute control of her magical powers in protecting the city.

On the other hand, the teaser completes with the cast standing on the edge of a cliff gazing the city welcoming autumn. It also announces that the much-awaited movie will be back in November.

Addition of two new characters in Frozen 2 trailer makes it quite interesting. An auburn-haired woman in the forest displaying some form of telekinetic power, and a regally-dressed, blond-haired man she sweeps up in some leaves he appears to be hiding under, however, Screenrant also confirms that there is no information on these characters. Even it was previously said that Sterling K Brown and Rachel Wood would have roles in the movie but the trailer doesn’t show their characters.

Frozen 2 is slated to hit the big screens on November 22, 2019.
