Prison Break Season 6: Dominic Purcell shares development update on Instagram

Returning of Prison Break Season 6 was previously confirmed by Michael Thorn of Fox Entertainment. The production is now in works and fans should be excited to learn that we all are coming closer to its release.
Prison Break Season 6 is expected to have nine episodes (based on some online outlets), although there is no official confirmation on it. Even it is very tough to predict the number of episodes for the upcoming season as the first and second seasons had 22 episodes, whereas third, fourth and fifth seasons consisted of 13, 24 and 9 episodes respectively.
Recently, Dominic Purcell took to social media to give a tad update on the making of Prison Break Season 6. “It’s in development that’s all I got for you. #chill” he wrote on Instagram on February 9. The 49-year old actor knows very well that a majority of fans from various parts of the world are quite curious to know the series’ progress. He even knows that several avid viewers are irked due to the long wait and that’s the reason he had inserted ‘#chill’ on his Instagram post. Even the actor also posted a snap of himself on Instagram (in January this year) standing beside a Prison Break large printed poster and captioned it with ‘6’.
Although upcoming season’s official plot is still under wrap, still it is being rumoured that it (the plot) will take the viewers to the beginning. Accordingly, the viewers are expected to get some serious twists in the upcoming season. Even the matter of rewinding ‘to the very first frames’ was previously said by Paul Scheuring, the series’ creator over Twitter months back.
