A new book detailing 'Project Cheetah', an initiative to bring cheetahs back to India, will be released this May. Authored by Prashant Agrawal, an Indian Foreign Service officer, it shares insights on the diplomatic mission behind this monumental conservation effort.
'Bringing the Cheetah Back to India', published by Hachette India, narrates the international collaboration and challenges tackled to reintroduce the world's fastest animal, a species hunted to extinction in the region over seventy years ago.
The book launch, featuring Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav as the chief guest, will occur at India's International Centre, promising a detailed look into the restoration of cheetahs at Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh.
