Two paragliders crash-landed in the remote mountains of the Dhauladhar ranges, prompting a daring rescue on Sunday. The incident caused distress as both individuals, Arun Singh and Ranjan Gupta, faced imminent danger in the challenging terrain.

The pair had taken off from Bir Billing but encountered mid-air difficulties, resulting in their crash in the Guran Dhar area of Kangra district. Local authorities, led by Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa, reported serious injuries for Singh, while Gupta was left stranded in a tree.

In the absence of road access, the district administration coordinated a swift rescue operation with the Indian Air Force, successfully airlifting the men to safety. Both were admitted to Vivekananda Hospital for treatment, receiving timely care thanks to this collaborative rescue effort.
