Better Call Saul Season 5 is likely to commence filming on April 10 this year in Albuquerque in New Mexico, reports say. In our previous article, we had revealed that since production work of the fifth season of spinoff prequel of Breaking Bad is starting late and slated to continue till August 2019, naturally the airing date is likely to take place in early 2020.

Better Call Saul Season 5 will surely see the characters Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) and Kimberly Wexler aka Kim (Rhea Seehorn). Business Times China predicts that this can be the last time fans will get to see Kim as the upcoming season will turn violent. Jimmy will totally transform into Saul Goodman and the viewers will surely be surprised to see how and why their relationship ended.

Since the commencement of show Better Call Saul, the viewers are quite worried about the fate of Kim. Many fans are guessing that Kim would die because she was never featured on Breaking Bad. Even the show creator Peter Gould expressed his concern about Kim’s fate in a conversation with Vulture in October 2018. “All I can say is, I’d be very sorry if something terrible happened to Kim…,” Peter Gould said.

On the other hand, while discussing on the series with Variety, Bob Odenkirk said, “I don’t know if they do or don’t, but I don’t think they stayed together because I just don’t picture Kim hanging with Saul Goodman in any capacity.” This gives a better clarity that Kim will have a tragic end in Better Call Saul Season 5.

There is also a possibility that Better Call Saul Season 5 concludes the series. Peter Gould in a media conversation with The Independent in August last year said that the series would have the similar number of episodes as Breaking Bad (16 episodes equally divided in two parts) that completed after five seasons. This may be an indication that Season 5 would mark the end of the series.
