Galeries Lafayette, a revered name in global luxury retail, is making its entry into the Indian market with its first flagship store in Mumbai. Located at the historic Turner Morrison and Voltas House buildings in Kala Ghoda, this venture signifies a strategic partnership with Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL).

With India's luxury market projected to reach USD 85 billion by 2030, Galeries Lafayette's entry is timely, tapping into Mumbai's unique position as both a financial powerhouse and cultural hub. The collaboration aims to fuse French fashion ethos with Indian cultural elements, offering a bespoke shopping experience.

The launch event was marked by a grand celebration on the Arabian Sea, symbolizing the historic moment. The flagship, designed by Virgile + Partners, spans five levels and introduces an array of luxury brands, personal concierge services, and cultural programs, setting new standards in Indian luxury retail.
