Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, currently promoting his new action thriller 'Sikandar', shared an unexpected moment when his father, veteran producer Salim Khan, attended the film's trailer launch. Speaking to ANI, Salman expressed the surprise at home when Salim decided to join him, displaying the bond they share.

Salman emphasized the importance of his father's legacy, noting the respect Salim continues to command. "The excitement was evident when Dad announced he'd attend the event. It was touching to see him engage with the press's reaction firsthand," Salman noted. The star hinted at 'Sikandar' offering more than what's captured in the 3.5-minute trailer.

On the topic of film controversies, Salman was straightforward, wishing for none to shadow 'Sikandar'. "Controversies are not necessary for success," he insisted, citing delays caused by them in the past. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, 'Sikandar', marking their reunion, is set for release on March 30, 2025.
