Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Nagpur, where he will pay homage at the memorial of RSS founder Dr. K B Hedgewar on March 30. This visit includes laying the foundation stone for the Madhav Netralaya Premium Centre extension.

The Dr Hedgewar Smruti Mandir, located in Nagpur's Reshimbagh area, also houses the memorials of M S Golwalkar, the second Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. This visit is notable as it marks the first time a sitting prime minister has visited the memorial site, according to BJP officials.

In addition to honoring the legacy of Hedgewar, PM Modi will visit other significant sites like Deekshabhoomi and the Solar Explosives plant in the city. The BJP is organizing large-scale receptions to welcome the prime minister across 47 city squares.
