Comedian and popular podcast host Joe Rogan has entered the fray of the high-profile legal battle involving Hollywood stars Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and director Justin Baldoni. In a recent episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience', broadcasted by Deadline, Rogan expressed support for Baldoni, saying the situation was "f***ed up."
The comments surfaced during Rogan's conversation with ex-mixed martial artist Brendan Schaub, as they dissected the ongoing lawsuits between Lively and Baldoni. Lively alleges Baldoni engaged in sexual harassment and an online smear campaign, while Baldoni counters with a $400 million defamation and extortion suit against Lively and Reynolds.
Rogan criticized Reynolds for his attempts to distance himself from the litigation, accusing the couple of trying to seize control over Baldoni's directed film 'It Ends With Us'. Drawing parallels to Johnny Depp's 2022 defamation win over Amber Heard, Schaub and Rogan highlighted Baldoni's efforts to defend against Lively's accusations with evidence.
As tensions escalate, People's magazine reports that Lively and Reynolds will skip the 2025 Met Gala, a notable absence given their past appearances. The legal proceedings are slated for trial in March 2026, attracting considerable public attention due to the celebrity status of those involved.
