Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, alongside Deputy CM Udhyanidhi Stalin, former AIADMK politician VK Sasikala, AIADMK leader Jayakumar, BJP State President Annamalai, TVK Chief Thalapathy Vijay, and actor Suriya, were among the prominent attendees at the funeral procession. Floral tributes were laid by grieving attendees, highlighting the actor's impact on both the public and his peers.

Stalin expressed his sorrow on social media, lauding Manoj's film contributions alongside his directorial ventures. Khan Pictionaries of Tamil cinema, politicians, and Manoj's friends echoed these sentiments online, paying tribute to the late actor who is survived by his wife, Nandana, and their two daughters.
