Tensions have escalated as Shiv Sena's youth wing activists launched a protest against comedian Kunal Kamra's parody song targeting Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra's deputy Chief Minister.
The protest took a symbolic turn as activists placed Kamra's photograph outside a public toilet in Indore, voicing their displeasure over what they describe as 'filth in the name of comedy.' They chanted slogans against the comedian, who remains unapologetic amid the uproar.
Anurag Sonar, leader of the Madhya Pradesh Yuva Sena, declared that should Kamra step foot in the state, activists would blacken his face and parade him through the streets as a form of protest.
