Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has strongly condemned recent remarks made by Samajwadi Party MP Ramji Lal Suman. Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, Suman had labeled historic Mewar ruler Rana Sanga as a 'traitor', a statement that has sparked controversy.

During a gathering at Chittorgarh fort organized by the Jauhar Smriti Sansthan, Chief Minister Sharma passionately defended Rana Sanga's legacy, emphasizing that the ruler was a true warrior who dedicated his life to preserving the country and its religious heritage despite bearing 80 wounds.

Sharma urged the SP chief Akhilesh Yadav to take action against Suman and asked for a formal apology, while other state ministers, including Rajyavardhan Rathore, Gautam Dak, and Manju Waghmar, supported his stance.
