DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai will be the epicenter of today's Holi celebrations, hosting internationally acclaimed DJ Martin Garrix. With large crowds expected, city authorities have taken extensive measures to ensure traffic flows smoothly and attendees enjoy a safe, memorable event.
Traffic Police DCP Tirupati Kakade detailed the arrangements to ANI, stating, "Our deployment for the Martin Garrix show consists of 1 DCP, 1 ACP, 11 PI, and 200 police officers. Four towing vehicles and two cranes are on standby for emergencies. We've restricted heavy vehicle entry from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am to prevent congestion, while essential services like ambulances remain unrestricted."
As part of safety measures, the public is urged to use public transport. "I encourage everyone to use public transport to minimize traffic issues," Kakade added. Nationwide, Holi marks the victory of good over evil, with vibrant celebrations. Cities like Mathura, Vrindavan, Varanasi, and Delhi have heightened security to maintain peace during festivities.
