It seems not even Douglas is able to predict what will be the role of Broly after 'Dragon Ball Super: Broly,' which does not rule out his involvement with the Gods of Destruction, even if it is hinted that its nature makes it manipulable and therefore unsuitable for a role like this (Image Credit: YouTube / Janemba8000)

After the release of the US debut of 'Dragon Ball Super: Broly' Jason Douglas, the English voice actor of Lord Beerus, has made it known what he thinks about the possible future of Broly in the franchise as a God of Destruction of the Seventh Universe. On a purely economic level, "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" is moving towards the Olympus of the animation films that have reached the highest grossing in history, reports Anime News Network. The film has made around $5 million on its first day of release.

God of Destruction

Many of the ideas are related to the role that some of the previously non-canonical characters will go on to cover in the near future and not the saga.

Leaving aside for a moment the speech about a warrior of the power of Gogeta, many have wondered what will become of Broly once the credits have been closed. For this reason, the journalists of ComicBook, during an interview that involved Jason Douglas (English voice of Lord Beerus and King Cold in the feature film), asked the dubber what he thought of the theory that the role that Broly will play will be that of God of Destruction.

Miraculous movie

Just the voice actor of Vegeta, Christopher Sabat, has expressed some statements on 'Broly' and especially on Broly.

He has indeed given the 'miraculous' to the film for being able to give some sentences to say to the legendary Super Saiyan, which in the previous films was limited to a few screams and some 'Kakaroth' from time to time. There was, therefore, a radical change in the character, approved by Sabat that also specifies that the new Broly is more prepared to the capabilities of Vic Mignogna, who gave the voice to the character from the first appearance in the films of the saga Z.

In short, it seems that not even Douglas is able to predict what will be the role of Broly after 'Dragon Ball Super: Broly,' which does not rule out his involvement with the Gods of Destruction, even if it is hinted that its nature makes it manipulable and therefore unsuitable for a role like this.

Finally, Bin Shimada, the voice actor of Broly said, "Mine is a role that started 25 years ago, being a Saiyan, Broly's blood starts to boil when it comes to fighting, but he also has this sort of internal duality that makes him unique." His personality allowed me to interpret a truly emotional level, I admit I struggled and suffered, even having doubled after so many years, I tried to give it the same imprint of the past, but this time I had to keep on younger tones!."
