Ozark Season 3 to start with giant casino boat, Airing to delay due to Jason Bateman
After a month of Ozark Season 2’s premiere, Season 3 was given the green signal, thanks to Jason Bateman who took to Twitter to make the announcement. Media Rights Capital-produced Netflix series will go on for a few more seasons and this is what Jason Bateman (who plays as Chicago-based self-employed financial advisor named Marty Byrde) likes to see. Does this mean Ozark will go on for at least a few more seasons with more drug deals?
Ozark Season 3 has already been renewed for 10 episodes. But the release date is yet to be announced. There were ample loose ends during the completion of Season 2 that need tying up. Even the previous season had many bloodsheds like Ruth Langmore’s (Julia Garner) father, Cade Langmore (Trevor Long) was mysteriously shot dead by an anonymous gunman, and the viewers obviously demand the unmasking of that character. Moreover, the vital question needs to be answered – who is the brainchild of this assassination?
One of the most vital things Ozark Season 3 will be dealing with is Wendy Bryde (Laura Linney), who is likely to fuelling her autocracy by her involvement in Marty Bryde’s (Jason Bateman) money. She finally usurps him by making direct communication with the cartel via attorney Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer). Even fans are passionately waiting to see the budding romance between Rachel (Jordana Spiro) and Marty, who is latter’s reluctant business partner and an owner of the Blue Cat hotel and bar.
On the other hand, since Ozark Season 2’s finale had portrayed the opening of Marty’s giant casino boat, Season 3 will surely focus on it if not at the start. That boat is likely to be utilized to launder hundreds of millions of dollars for the Mexican drug cartel.
Ozark Season 3 will have its late premiere. In a tête-à-tête with Ellen DeGeneres at TheEllenShow in August 2018, Jason Bateman disclosed that he would take off from the work till March and his break from the work was mainly to spend quality times with his family members. And since he is the heart of the Netflix’s series Ozark (he even directed a few episodes and one of the executive producers), the series is ought to standstill complying with his schedule.
