In a bid to boost eco-tourism, Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary has unveiled an exciting addition for nature and adventure lovers—the Bhimamandali cave trek. Located in Odisha's Sambalpur district, this newly launched package offers explorers a chance to delve into the depths of ancient history with its rock engravings and paintings.

The journey to Bhimamandali unfolds after a picturesque two-hour drive from Debrigarh, passing through the scenic Hirakud Dam and Sambalpur. Upon arrival, trekkers are set to embark on a one-kilometer trek to the caves, situated amidst dense forests and known for their historical significance as Bhima's believed abode during exile.

Inaugurated by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the comprehensive circuit also covers Samaleswari Temple, Sambalpur Zoo, and returns to Debrigarh. Last year alone, 70,000 visitors flocked to the sanctuary, indicating its growing popularity among tourists worldwide.
