President Droupadi Murmu is set to attend a mass wedding ceremony organized by the charitable Shree Bageshwar Jan Seva Samiti in Chhatarpur district, Madhya Pradesh. The event, scheduled for Wednesday, will witness the President's presence at Gadha village, according to officials.

Chhatarpur district collector Parth Jaiswal mentioned that the arrangements are in full swing for the President's visit, which is expected to occur between 10 am and 11 am, with her departure likely around 2 pm. This significant event aligns with the Mahashivratri celebrations occurring throughout India.

Adding to the day's significance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently initiated the foundation of a new health facility, including a cancer hospital, valued at over Rs 200 crore. This project, located 23 km from Chhatarpur district headquarters, adds to the bustling activity in the Bundelkhand region.
