President Murmu's Whirlwind Tour: Celebrating Heritage and Education Across India

President Droupadi Murmu embarks on a significant tour across Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat. Her itinerary, spanning February 25 to March 1, includes attending centenary celebrations, mass weddings, convocation ceremonies, and visits to heritage sites, showcasing a blend of cultural recognition and educational acknowledgment.

President Droupadi Murmu will undertake a significant tour covering Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat from February 25 to March 1, with engagements ranging from centenary celebrations to cultural tributes, her office announced Monday.

In Bihar, the President is set to attend the 100th anniversary of Patna Medical College, fostering the institution's historical and educational significance. Her schedule in Madhya Pradesh includes gracing a mass wedding ceremony at Gadha, Chhatarpur, organized by the Shri Bageshwar Jan Seva Samiti. The same day, she will honor the Statue of Unity and participate in the Narmada Aarti in Kevadia, Gujarat.

The tour further includes visits to the Ekta Skill Development Centre and the 44th convocation of the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad. President Murmu will continue to Gandhinagar for the National Forensic Sciences University convocation, and on March 1, she will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dholavira, underscoring her commitment to educational and cultural endeavors.
