Pakistan's PKR 1 Billion Plan to Beautify Temples and Gurdwaras

The Pakistani government has rolled out an ambitious PKR 1 billion plan to rejuvenate and beautify temples and gurdwaras throughout the country.
This decision was confirmed during a recent meeting of the Evacuee Trust Property Board, chaired by Syed Attaur Rehman. The meeting included representatives from both Hindu and Sikh communities, alongside government officials.
Rehman emphasized that substantial funds would be allocated to the enhancement of minority places of worship. Additionally, the project aims to boost revenues by developing previously unused trust properties, with a new project director set to oversee the renovations.
