Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan stressed that merely aligning technology with future warfare strategies isn't enough for achieving victory. Speaking at Aero India, he highlighted the importance of developing new concepts and doctrines to complement technological advancements.

General Chauhan emphasized that technological progress is only part of the solution in modern conflicts. He underscored the need to evolve doctrines and establish new organizations and cultures that can adapt to the complexities of future warfare.

The CDS noted how warfare has traditionally spanned land and expanded to maritime and air domains. Now, technology is creating multi-domain battles, expanding into space and potentially involving machines. He urged adopting cross-domain strategies and emphasized the growing intelligence of warfare through digitization and networking.
