Bhubaneswar Gears Up to Host Pravasi Bharatiya Divas with Cultural Splendor

Odisha's Housing and Urban Development Minister, Krushna Chandra Mohapatra, is overseeing preparations in Bhubaneswar for the upcoming Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, set to begin on January 8. His inspection tour included the route from Airport Chowk to Janata Maidan.
Mohapatra focused on city sanitation, road conditions, and beautification efforts, issuing directives to address any areas needing improvement, from potholes to unkempt spaces, to maintain the city's aesthetic appeal. He called on local businesses and residents for active participation in these efforts.
With a focus on cultural hospitality, Bhubaneswar aims to provide a memorable experience for the international guests, including a spiritual tour to the Jagannath temple. Traditional Odia cuisine and cultural events will be highlighted. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event, which will conclude with an awards ceremony featuring President Droupadi Murmu.
