A violent altercation at a beach shack in Goa resulted in the death of a 30-year-old visitor from Andhra Pradesh early Tuesday morning, according to local police reports. The victim, identified as Ravi Teja, was killed during a brawl sparked by drunken tourists demanding food after kitchen hours.
Following the incident in North Goa's Calangute area, police apprehended Kamal Sonar, a 23-year-old shack worker, in connection with the fatal assault. Authorities revealed that Sonar allegedly struck Teja on the head with a wooden stick amidst an escalating argument.
The altercation began after tourists, unsatisfied with the shack owner's refusal to serve food, engaged in verbal abuse toward a female employee.
