Hollywood Reporter confirmed Momoa's casting, solidifying the actor's long-standing interest in bringing Lobo to life on the screen. ''I've always wanted to play Lobo. It's the perfect role,'' Momoa was quoted saying in a recent reveal on social media.
The movie, starring Milly Alcock, will focus on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, and will feature Matthias Schoenaerts and Eve Ridley in pivotal roles. As part of the reimagined DC Universe by James Gunn and Peter Safran, this film follows the much-anticipated ''Superman'' starring David Corenswet.
