Trekking Trip Turns Chaotic as Bee Attack Traps 10 Teens

Ten teenagers found themselves in peril after a bee attack during a trekking trip at Sanjay Gandhi National Park led them to seek refuge on a steep slope. The Thane police, along with disaster response personnel, successfully conducted a rescue operation, ensuring the children's safety.
The incident unfolded around 12:20 p.m. on Monday in Yeoor, as per Yasin Tadvi, head of the Thane Municipal Corporation disaster management cell. The children, hailing from Thane and various parts of Mumbai, including Vikhroli, Kanjurmarg, and Ghatkopar, were trapped for about an hour before being rescued.
While the operation ended with all ten safely retrieved, three individuals required hospitalization due to bee stings. The situation highlighted the prompt response of the authorities and their ability to manage unexpected emergencies during outdoor activities.
