In a startling incident, three shops were destroyed by a fire en route to the revered Mata Vaishnodevi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, officials reported on Wednesday.
The fire initially erupted at a shop situated at Churan Padika, quickly spreading to affect additional nearby businesses, the officials stated.
An effective joint operation by police, fire service personnel, and the shrine board managed to extinguish the fire, though the cause still remains undetermined, according to the officials.
