Russia's Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jet took center stage at China's prestigious international air show in Zhuhai. The event featured a showcase of Chinese military advancements, including new fighters and drones.
The Su-57, part of the formidable Sukhoi line, stands as a powerful asset for both the Indian and Chinese air forces, with both nations operating variants of the Su-30 MKI. At the air show, Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev announced that the first export contracts for the Su-57 had been secured.
Test pilot Sergey Bogdan, who flew the Su-57 at the show, expressed that the aircraft outperforms its global counterparts. This includes China's J-35, which was also demonstrated at the show. The Su-57's debut offers a platform for China and Russia to exchange insights and foster mutual development in aerospace technology.
