After the success of 'Rocket Boys', Nikkhil Advani aims to explore another crucial chapter in Indian history with his upcoming project 'Freedom at Midnight'. The series is an adaptation of Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre's book, chronicling India's journey to independence.
Advani, alongside Danish Khan from Sony LIV, has taken on the challenge to adapt this significant piece of literature. The political drama promises to shine a light on the pivotal roles played by historical figures such as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Sardar Patel.
The series, set to stream on SonyLIV from November 15, presents a mix of historical accuracy and creative storytelling, delivering a fresh perspective on patriotism and democracy.
