Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is in New Delhi for a pivotal two-day visit, officials confirmed on Tuesday. Key on his agenda is a preparatory meeting organized by the Ministry of External Affairs related to the celebrated Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.
Scheduled for January next year, the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas will take place at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. This event serves to strengthen ties with the Indian diaspora and is collaboratively organized by the Odisha government and the Ministry of External Affairs.
In addition to the meeting, Chief Minister Majhi will be part of the official launch of a dedicated website for the event. He is expected to return to Odisha on Wednesday morning, officials reported.
