World Aquatics is advancing its strategic relocation from Lausanne to Budapest, planning to finalize the move by 2027 to coincide with the World Aquatics Championships hosted in Budapest.
Despite the shift, Lausanne, housing around 50 international sports entities, will remain crucial for World Aquatics as it continues to host the Aquatics Integrity Unit and the World Aquatics Foundation.
The newly inaugurated interim office in Budapest, staffed by 25 employees, boasts a cutting-edge content studio designed to bolster digital outreach and fortify the connection between athletes and fans globally.
