Andra Day, renowned singer and songwriter, has been announced as a cast member for the second season of Disney's 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians,' playing the role of Athena, reports The Hollywood Reporter. In a video statement, Day expressed eagerness to embody the character and collaborate with the talented cast.
The returning ensemble includes Jeffries as Annabeth, alongside Walker Scobell taking on the role of Percy. Aryan Simhadri reprises his character as Grover, with Charlie Bushnell returning as Luke, and Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse. New additions to the cast include Daniel Diemer as Tyson the Cyclops and Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus.
