The bustling city of Kozhikode is set to welcome literary enthusiasts for the eighth Kerala Literature Festival (KLF) commencing on January 23, 2025. Bringing together voices from 15 countries, including stalwarts from the UK, USA, France, and beyond, the event promises a rich cultural tapestry.
Organized by the DC Kizhakemuri Foundation, the festival anticipates a footfall of six lakh attendees over the course of four days. It aims to delve into diverse subjects such as literature, politics, art, and science. For this edition, France graces the limelight, offering visitors a deep dive into French art, language, and philosophy.
Among the distinguished participants are eminent figures like Perumal Murugan, Shashi Tharoor, and Rajdeep Sardesai, adding to the festival's allure as Asia's largest literature congregation. The event further promises musical interludes from luminaries such as Hariprasad Chaurasia, along with 'Children's KLF' focused on igniting the literary flame among young minds.
