A new exotic primate enclosure has been unveiled at the Nandankanan Zoological Park, near the capital of Odisha, to the delight of wildlife enthusiasts.
The naturalistic environment, housing seven exotic primate species from around the globe, aims to draw more visitors, as emphasized by Odisha's Forest and Environment Minister, Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia, during its inauguration.
The facility, meticulously crafted with species-specific enrichments, occupies 13,665 sq ft. Upgraded visitor facilities and future inclusion of additional species underscore the zoo's commitment to both animal welfare and visitor engagement.
