Reviving an Ancient Tongue: Mobile Sanskrit Gurukul Expands in Jammu and Kashmir

The 'Sanskrit in Every Household' campaign received a significant boost with the launch of the second Mobile Sanskrit Gurukul by Jammu and Kashmir's Lt Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan on Sunday. This endeavor is spearheaded by Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust.
Initiated in December 2022, the Mobile Sanskrit Gurukul brings the age-old wisdom of Sanskrit to the people's doorstep, offering non-formal education in one of the world's oldest living languages. Lt Governor Sinha applauded the relentless efforts of the Trust and its associates.
A vehicle for the Mobile Sanskrit Gurukul has been generously donated by Rakesh Gandotra, Chairman of S D Memorial Educational Trust, facilitating the spread of this timeless linguistic heritage.
