Renowned Indian director Rohit Shetty recently discussed the impressive success of his latest cop drama 'Singham Again' and its unexpected box office clash with 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. He confirmed that although a clash was not initially intended given the Diwali theme, both films have collectively grossed over Rs 300 crores, a rare achievement.
'Singham Again' stars an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, alongside a special cameo by Salman Khan. Meanwhile, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', a horror-comedy directed by Anees Bazmee, features Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan. Ajay Devgn acknowledged the clash, sharing his hope to avoid such conflicts in the future.
Both films premiered over Diwali and defied typical box office trends by performing exceptionally well. 'Singham Again' earned Rs 43.5 crore on its opening day while 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' garnered Rs 36.60 crore. Producer Bhushan Kumar expressed satisfaction with the film's reception, stating that unavoidable circumstances led to the release clash.
