Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya has called on students to champion principles over profits in their leadership roles within society. Addressing graduates at Majuli Cultural University's inaugural convocation, he emphasized ethical responsibility as a cornerstone for societal service.
Acharya congratulated 182 graduating students, highlighting their role in promoting cultural values globally. He encouraged them to tackle significant challenges, such as climate change, social upheaval, and economic inequality, viewing these as opportunities for growth and innovation.
During his visit, Acharya also reviewed progress on local projects and central schemes, including PM Awas Yojana and PM Kisan, and inspected flood protection efforts, underscoring the importance of responsible governance.
