Red Velvet to rock the stage, paint global arena red in 2019

‘Red Velvet’ is truly doing lots of things in tandem! The South Korean girl group is all set to rock the stage at World Memorial Hall in Japan’s Kobe on Saturday and Sunday, January 12 and 13. On last Sunday, January 6, the group had mesmerizing performance in the presence of thousands of audiences at Marine Messe Fukuoka in Japan’s Fukuoka.
‘Red Velvet’, which debuted on August 1, 2014, will have another rocking concert named ‘Redmare’ on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 29 and 30 at Yokohama Arena at Yokohama, Japan. After this performance, they will move to North America and start from Los Angeles on February 7. Their last concert will take place on February 21 in Vancouver, Canada.
Last year, K-Pop angels of ‘Red Velvet’ dropped a slew of mini-albums like ‘The Perfect Red Velvet’, which was the second studio album by the group. The album also topped the Gaon Album Chart upon its release and took the third position on Billboard’s World Albums. Currently, they are concentrating on the concerts at various cities certainly to increase their global fans’ computation.
On the other hand, Soompi revealed a confirmation from Korea Music Content Association that the quintet consisting of Wendy, Irene, Joy, Yeri and Seulgi will be attending the 8th Gaon Chart Music Awards. Earlier, it was confirmed that globally-renowned musical groups like iKON, Momoland, Blackpink, Haon, The Boyz, Bol4, Twice to name a few will be attending the Gaon Chart Music Awards, which is slated to take place on January 23 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in South Korea’s capital city Seoul.
If you’ve been a K-Pop fan, here’s one more announcement for you. ‘Red Velvet’, despite having busy schedules for ongoing concerts in various cities, has released their second original Japanese single titled ‘Sappy’ on January 6 with an enthralling music video. ‘Sappy’ can certainly be called the group’s first single of 2019.
