Shailene Woodley, acclaimed for her roles in critically acclaimed films, delves into the intricate emotional narratives of 'Three Women,' a TV series adaptation of Lisa Taddeo's book. Speaking with Deadline, Woodley articulated her connection with the character Gia, a writer navigating the profound emotional landscapes of human existence.

"I relate to the micro-elements of all these characters, especially Gia," Woodley remarked. "The existential aloneness that Gia feels resonates with my own experiences. 'Three Women' has been a source of solace, helping me feel less isolated. It's essential for art to offer conversations and connections, making us feel less alone," she shared.

The series, unfolding through Gia's narrative lens, chronicles the transformative journeys of three women. As Deadline describes, the women, persuaded by Gia, share their life-altering stories, ultimately changing her life. Alongside Woodley, the series stars Betty Gilpin, DeWanda Wise, and Gabrielle Creevy, portraying characters Lina, Sloane, and Maggie, respectively.

Woodley candidly noted the unique experience filming the series, "It was an intense, technicolour journey with no escape from any emotional depth. Every aspect was thoroughly examined and embraced for its authenticity," highlighting the power of storytelling embodied in 'Three Women.'
