High Court Grants Interim Bail to Actor in High-Profile Murder Case

Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, received interim bail from the Karnataka High Court for spine surgery. The court stipulated conditions like surrendering his passport and not tampering with evidence. Darshan, along with 16 co-accused, was arrested after the murder on June 9.

The Karnataka High Court granted interim bail to actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, due to medical needs for spine surgery.

The 47-year-old actor has been in Ballari prison since his arrest on June 11, along with his friend Pavithra Gowda and 15 others.

The court stipulated that Darshan must surrender his passport and avoid tampering with evidence. He is also required to submit a health report to the court.
