The Karnataka High Court granted interim bail to actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, due to medical needs for spine surgery.

The 47-year-old actor has been in Ballari prison since his arrest on June 11, along with his friend Pavithra Gowda and 15 others.

The court stipulated that Darshan must surrender his passport and avoid tampering with evidence. He is also required to submit a health report to the court.
