In a significant development, three individuals have been arrested following a devastating fire accident at a temple in Neeleswaram, police confirmed on Tuesday.
The suspects, identified as Rajesh P, Bharathan, and Chandrashekharan, include members of the temple committee. Bharathan and Chandrashekharan served as secretary and president, respectively.
The incident occurred during a Theyyam performance late Monday night when firecrackers, allegedly set off by Rajesh, exploded, injuring 154 people, with eight sustaining serious injuries.
