Prime Video's celebrated series ''Panchayat'' has begun filming its eagerly anticipated fourth season, as announced on Instagram by the platform. The series, directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya, continues to captivate audiences with its compelling narrative and beloved cast.

Returning for the new chapter are lead actor Jitendra Kumar, along with Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, and Sanvikaa. The series, created by The Viral Fever (TVF), tells the story of Abhishek Tripathi, an engineering graduate who reluctantly becomes a panchayat secretary in Phulera, a remote village in Uttar Pradesh.

Since its debut in April 2020, 'Panchayat'' has been a massive hit, resulting in a second season in May 2022 and a third installment released earlier this year. The show's unique blend of humor and insight into rural life keeps audiences eagerly awaiting the upcoming season.
