A Spiritual Bond: Pakistan and India's Shared Sufi Heritage

In a gesture of spiritual unity, Pakistan's Charge d'Affaires, Saad Ahmad Warraich, laid the traditional chaddar at the shrine of the esteemed Sufi saint Hazrat Khwaja Nizamuddin Aulia in New Delhi. The act underscored messages of universal brotherhood, love, and tolerance.
Joining Warraich were 75 Pakistani pilgrims in India for the 721st Urs celebration of the saint. The Pakistan High Commission noted that this visit was part of the 1974 protocol on religious shrine visits between India and Pakistan.
After the ceremonial offering, prayers for Pakistan's prosperity echoed within the shrine's walls. The gathering also paid homage to Hazrat Amir Khusro, further celebrating the Sufi legacy and their contributions to society's moral fiber and cohesion.
