In a significant development for cultural preservation and regional development, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated the Kameng Culture and Heritage Museum at Nyukmadung in West Kameng district.
Highlighting the region's deep cultural, historical, and religious roots, Khandu emphasized the museum's role as a pivotal institution for preserving the past and inspiring future generations. He acknowledged the Indian Army's involvement in establishing the museum and aiding in border area development through initiatives like Sadbhavana projects.
The museum is set to become a key educational and cultural hub, drawing scholars, researchers, and tourists alike, showcasing 343 traditional heirlooms. It also features modern amenities like a movie hall and tourist facilities, embodying a vision of inclusivity, sustainability, and economic growth through border tourism and cultural revival.
