Vijayadashami celebrations at Gorakhnath Temple commenced on Saturday, with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath leading the festivities.
Adityanath, who also serves as the Gorakhnath Math Peethadhishwar, honored Shrinath, an incarnation of Guru Gorakhnath, with traditional rituals while dressed in the distinct Nath sect attire.
According to a press release, the day began with prayers at the temple's Shaktipeeth, continued with a ceremonial 'aarti' in the sanctum sanctorum, and concluded with prayers for all deities within the temple.
