Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended an invitation to East Asia Summit (EAS) countries for a pioneering Heads of Higher Education Conclave set to take place at Nalanda University in Bihar.
The invitation was part of Modi's address at the 19th East Asia Summit in Vientiane, Laos. The Prime Minister emphasized the significance of the EAS framework and India's dedication to enhancing its ties. Acknowledging the support from participating countries for Nalanda University's restoration, Modi invited them to the upcoming educational forum.
Comprising 18 members, including 10 ASEAN countries and others like Australia, China, and the United States, the EAS stands as a prominent collaboration platform. Modi, who inaugurated Nalanda University's new campus in June, envisions this conclave reinforcing educational links among member nations.
