On Thursday, actor Sreenath Bhasi faced extensive questioning by police as part of a probe into a narcotics case, following the arrest of notorious gangster Om Prakash and his accomplices at a local luxury hotel.

The police investigation intensified when Bhasi's name came to light after Prakash's arrest. Alongside Bhasi, actor Prayaga Martin was also summoned for questioning, although Martin's family has denied her involvement.

Authorities are examining suspected narcotic substances found in a hotel room linked to Prakash, who allegedly procured drugs like cocaine for distribution at city DJ parties. Allegations of misconduct, including drug use, in the Malayalam film industry have also resurfaced.
