Similipal Tiger Reserve opened its gates to nature enthusiasts this Thursday after four months of closure due to monsoon conditions, officials announced.
Samrat Gouda, Deputy Director of STR, confirmed that 151 visitors arrived in 36 vehicles on the opening day, exploring the reserve's expansive biodiversity.
Tourists can now book wildlife safaris online, with mandatory guides ensuring a safe and informative journey through the park's 2,750-square-kilometre expanse, home to rare species like the melanistic tiger.
